We live in Granbury, a small tourist town in central Texas. There is a lake, formed by damming the Brazos river. With all the usual sports that go with it, skiing, fishing and now days the jet ski's are like water bugs. During the summer folks from all the neighboring larger cities come here on week ends to get away from the rat race. Many of them have second homes here. The town square has been restored and is like going back in time to the 1800's. On the square is an old Opera House that still puts on musical, comedy and dramatic shows year around. There is a sidewalk cafe, an Ice Cream store,where you can get a real chocolate shake and where the guys, young and old, gather to play their guitar's and banjo's on week ends.
