Guest House

The "A Bit of Rest" Guesthouse is a small, 650 square foot house, built in 1932. It was remodeled in 1998 and is furnished with antique decor and bedsets, two bedrooms with queen beds, a living room, kitchen and bathroom. A gift certificate is given to the guest to redeem for breakfast at a local restaurant in the mornings. With prior arrangements, a continental-plus breakfast can be provided at the guesthouse.

Located 4/10th of a mile north of the historic Courthouse and Square, just over the railroad tracks, it rents from $89/one bedroom or $109 for two bedrooms per night plus tax. Each additional person over 4 occupants is $15 each plus tax. Weekday and corporate rates are available on request. Extended stay rates (including weekly or monthly rental) are greatly discounted based on the length of stay.

Enjoy live theater (Granbury Opera House, Granbury Live and special events), golfing, drive-in movies, antique shopping, watersports, fishing, Creation Evidence Museum, "The Promise" at the Texas Amphitheater, Fossil Rim Wildlife Park, and local festivals year-round. Take home a special momento with the "Enchanted Evening" package. Flowers, specialty baskets, and ticketing assistance may be customized for your arrival.
